Icare
In Greek mythology, Daedalus made his son Icarus wings using feathers stuck with bees wax. Ignoring his father's warning, he flew too close to the sun and the wax melted. Icarus fell into the sea and drowned - his legs are thrashing in the sea just below the ship.
